Sono i dati diffusi dall’Osservatorio Gioco Online del Politecnico di Milano – in collaborazione con l’Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli e Sogei – che nel rapporto annuale ha fatto il punto sull’andamento del gioco online in Italia, evidenziando anche i provvedimenti che rendono più sicuro il settore. Chiare anche le caratteristiche del giocatore tipo che predilige l’online: uomo, del Centro-Sud, di età compresa fra 25 e 44 anni, con abitudini saltuarie di gioco.
Il gioco online deve la sua rapida diffusione anche all’uso sempre più capillare delle nuove tecnologie ed il rapporto si sofferma anche sul tipo di tecnologia maggiormente utilizzata.
“La spesa generata su smartphone e tablet supera i 350 milioni di euro, in crescita di oltre il 50%, trainata da scommesse sportive e casinò games” – ha spiegato Samuele Fraternali, direttore dell’Osservatorio.
Del resto sono importanti le misure di tutela previste dall’Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli per chi vuole accedere al gioco online in piena sicurezza: contrasto agli operatori illegali, anagrafe centralizzata per la tracciabilità dei conti di gioco, strumenti di autotutela per i giocatori, registro unico per l’autoesclusione da tutti i portali.
